Types of Bentall Surgery
Mechanical Valve Bentall Procedure- Uses a mechanical valve with a synthetic graft, requiring lifelong anticoagulation.
Biological Valve Bentall Procedure- Employs a bioprosthetic valve with a graft, suitable for patients who cannot tolerate anticoagulation.
Modified Bentall Procedure- Preserves the coronary artery attachments and uses reimplantation techniques for better alignment.
